Not very helpful, is it? It seems that he could have SOME responsibility in how districts are managed, or should be held accountable in how the districts in his jurisdiction receive their monies.
These acts are menacing and you are losing sympathy with these tactics. This was a wonderful event hosted by the Community Voice Newspaper and you went and tried to rain on the parade - shame on you! Do you not understand the difference between the CRPUSD and the City of RP? You would be mortified if people showed up to protest something at a family fun night that was not involving you.

With all due respect, where you there? Did you see us? Can you honestly call us menacing? We were out there with our children and our candles and our little signs, not to rain on anyone's parade, but to call community attention to a community problem. We meant absolutely no disrespect to anyone. We made very effort to be respectful, we didn't shout or chant or disrupt the event in any way. We called attention to the problem and in the mean time we taught our children a valuable lesson about some of the great qualities of our democratic society- freedom of speech and the ability of a small group of people to work together for change.
